Appointments

We request that you make an appointment for all visits. You can call us at 510-483-2600 during our business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Please call us as early as possible in the day, particularly if you desire a same day appointment. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and do triage and prioritize sick children who are established patients for same day appointments. For routine visits, please try to call us at least one month in advance of the date that you would like to have the appointment, particularly if you would like to have the doctor of your choice see your child.

Routine and urgent care appointments will be scheduled Monday through Friday during our regular business hours.

If you are a new patient, please have your insurance card easily accessible when you call to make your appointment. We will need to verify your insurance prior to your appointment, and therefore, we are unable to accommodate same day sick appointments for new patients.

Each time you come for a visit, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the appointment and that you bring:

• Your child’s immunization card
• Your insurance card
• Your co-payment

We provide the following types of appointments:

• Well child/physical exams from birth to age 18
• Sports and camp physicals
• Pre-operative physicals
• School and behavioral issues, including evaluation for ADD/ADHD
• Pre-travel care
• Acute and chronic illnesses
• Adolescent care. We do accept Family PACT

We offer the following the procedures:

• Foreign body removal
• Initial fracture care
• Burn and simple wound care
• Suture or staple removal
• Wart treatment
• Ear piercing (requires payment at time of service)
