Transferring Care

All of our physicians are accepting new patients. We participate in most insurance plans. Please call your insurance plan or our office to determine if we are part of your insurance plan. When you call to make your first appointment, please have your insurance card easily accessible. We will need to verify your insurance before your appointment, and therefore, we are unable to accommodate same day sick appointments for new patients.

When you arrive for your delivery, please let the hospital staff know that you have chosen Bancroft Pediatric Medical Group (or one of our physicians) as your newborn’s medical provider. If your child is born at Eden Medical Center, one of our physicians will likely see you each day that you are there. If your baby is born at another hospital, he/she will be seen by one of the staff physicians there, and you can make an appointment to see us one to two days after discharge. Please ask them to send or give you your discharge paperwork so that we can have all the information at that first visit.
